This organ replaced an 1881 Hutchings-Plaisted organ, with no pipes being
retained. A new console was built by the Ernest M. Skinner Co. in 1974.
The organ was tonally and mechanically altered by E. A. Kelley in 1984. An
Antiphonal and a new 4-manual console were provided by Kelley in 1989.
